Needed to share this, just look at the reflection of the new building, showing off the building across from it, really neat effect. This would be fist time enjoying sitting in the car, waiting for a boat to go by, while the bridge goes up, front row seat. I just love traveling downtown Miami, I do even take the bus ride here, since it is the best City I've seen yet. Since I grew up in Jersey City, NJ and always wanted to move out to see some other states.
So, I then moved to Weeki Wachee, FL and stayed there for 14 years with no sidewalks, no highrises, and no busses only until 2004, so you really needed to have a car. So that was a big transition for me. Well let tell you about Weeki Wachee it is just paradise, surrounded by lots of nature. With all owls that come by and sit tree and howl at night, the otters that come by near my dock in the canal to find something to eat, they just so amazing and cute. On the river you might see some alligator, they had their own little neat canal off to the side, you don't to go there. Sometimes you would them sun bathing on a rock, or just maybe they watching go by on ours boats. Oh, lets not forget the famous Manatees, some were big and old, the babies so adorable. I sure did get to learn about animals, there more animals there then in New York State. A real lot of things to see and learn. Every year they have there swamp fest which was exciting to look forward to, with lots of venders, food, and music.
Being from Jersey City where you walk across the street and you have a choose of stores for anything you need. Now after adjusting to in Weeki Wachee, FL, I now moved to Sunny Isles Beach, FL which is a city now for 10 years, you have all that and plus the BEACH at your convenience. It is a 30 minute car ride to Downtown Miami, and there lots of ways to travel there, car, bus, bike, maybe walk if want to, and/or BOAT. Forgot the Tri-Rail!
